Familiarize yourself with the following information.   Print it out and make a packet.   Get to know both, your local State representative and State senator. Make an appointment with them and give them the packet for their review.  Follow up in person with your legislators and with as many grass roots activists as you can muster.

1. Dr. Edwin Vieira's montana_testimony, a nine page presentation for a bill in Montana.

2. South Carolina bill. While that bill is far from being perfect, it is a start.
